A 15-minute walk from st peter's basilica. Terrace was included. Rome City Centre neighbourhood was worth exploring.
-
For shots visit La Zanzara, nestled within 5 minutes' walk of the hotel. We loved food and staff, no complaints. Great to be within 5 minutes’ walk from castel sant' angelo...

Every hotel staff member we came in contact with treated us very respectfully. The concierge both morning and afternoon were very polite and very helpful. The staff on the terrace were very nice, The gentleman on the terrace in the evening was especially nice. We felt like we were part of his family. The menu is somewhat limited but always of high quality. The rooms were small by United States standards but average in size for European standards. Most staff spoke English very well, along with several other languages. When I return to Rome, Hotel dei Consoli will be number one on my list of hotels.

Excellent choice ! Very nice place, close to the Vatican, not far from the city center, metro, restaurants, in a quiet street. Rooms are not large but presumably you dont go to Roma to stay in your room...
Just make sure that they dont rent the terrace on the 4th floor to a private party if your room is on the 3rd !!

The room was smelly, it needs to be aired
-
We found the room very comfortable and the location was excellent
The elevator was very small and the stairs
-
Very opulent room and great staff, especially Samuel.
-
friendliness and helpful staff; cleanliness, location.
-
Very good reception and gave us a lot of suggestions. Good location from Ventica.
-
the good secret deal that we got
one of the people in the front desk was quite rude and ignored us
-
They claim they have air conditionning but it does not work

The location for this hotel is excellent. Steps from the Vatican and not far from Piazza di Pupolo. Good shopping right outside the door.
The rooms are very small and there really is no lobby which makes check- in and out cumbersome. Rooms are carpeted which is never as fresh and clean as tile or wood floors. Shower was not working properly but staff responded and repaired immediately. The roof top terrace was never open in the evening. Breakfast was ok but not great.

Mahtava kattoterassi jossa aamupala ja iltaisin baari! Pietarinkirkko näkyy katolta, myös iltavalaistuksessa. Great roof terrace where breakfast is served - doubles as a bar at night! St. Peters cathedral can be viewed from the roof, also in its spectacular night lighting.

The hotel location is walking distance to the Vatican and opposite the bus stop. Using the bus U81, we can practically made our way to all the popular landmark without using the subway or taxis. The hotel staffs speak English and was helpful... especially Mr. Samuel from the front desk.

I like the location for the hotel as it is very near to the Vatican City. The room and toilet are very small for two persons. The breakfast at the hotel is good.
